I selected other. Of the songs on the survey, I love Sara Smile, You Make My Dreams, I Can't Go For That, Maneater and Out Of Touch. But I love, love, love "One On One". To this day, if that song should come on the radio, I have to stop what I'm doing and just listen.

I had forgotten what a hit machine this duo was in their day. I loved all their songs, but 'Rich Girl' got my vote.

I love Maneater, Out Of Touch and You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling. The latter I think is one of the best cover songs ever!

I vote other- Do it for Love. Everything Your Heart Desires is good too.

Unlike a lot of the stuff in the current top40 they can sing without overdoing it, breaking into a rap and can play instruments. Way to go.

Hall & Oates are one of the coolest "uncool" acts ever. It's hard to pick a favorite! I guess I'll say, "Out of Touch."

(I'm joking about "uncool" but you know... 20 + years ago they weren't your typical popular artists. That turned out to be cool. )

These guys rock my world!

"Sara Smile"

"Rich Girl"

"Kiss On My List"

"Private Eyes"

"Maneater"

And my number one favorite is.... *drum roll* "Out Of Touch."

Another underrated favorite of mine is "Your Imagination". That song is seriously funky, also Method Of Modern Love is a big favorite, and Adult Education.

yes, I am shocked Your Imagination wasn't a bigger hit. Of the 1981-1985 string of blockbusters where almost everything was top 10, Your Imagination stalled at #33 in 1982, should've been a top 10

You wouldn't happen to have those Billboard Hot 100 chart books, would you? I figure you don't have chart info stored in your head.

I assumed that you had the same books I have. They're hardcover books with nothing but every single weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart. They're broken down by decades, I have the books for the 70's, 80's and 90's. I use them alot as reference when I'd make compilation cds, or mainly just to see how well a particular single did.

I love Hall & Oates! That was a hard choice to make. But I picked "You Make My Dreams."
