Here is a bit of trivia for you. In the movie, "Mrs. Doubtfire," the kids are seen watching "The Dick Van Dyke Show" after school. The question is: Which episode were they watching and which scene from that episode was shown?

I love that scene. The girl says, "We always watch 'Dick Van Dyke' and Mrs. Doubtfire tells them to go do their homework. I always think those kids have good taste!

This one might be a little harder...

In an episode of the 90s sitcom "Blossom," Blossom's dad interrupts her while watching "The Dick Van Dyke Show." Which episode was SHE watching?

That one is harder! I've never even heard of that show let alone seen it! I'll be interested to see if anyone knows the answer!

I agree! I've heard of it, but never seen it. I don't know of anywhere that it's on now.

I remember Blossom, but only watched it occassionally, because someone told me Mayim Bialik, the series' star, was the image of my eldest daughter, although Mayim was quite a bit older.

I'm with you there Steve. I've heard of the show, and can even remember the theme song (don't ask me why, I don't know). However, I never watched an episode and certainly am stumped at that good trivia question!

B&W "I imagine there are one or two more shows that have made use of an episode of TDVDS, but I can't think of any right now" fan

That's from episode #137 "Body and Sol," after Boom Boom Bailey almost knocks out "Pitter Patter" Petrie.

I love that episode!!
