Help please! Important Dick Van Dyke trivia question - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone know the answer to either of these 2 questions? Laura Meeker was a ______ when she met Rob Petrie? and Buddy Sorrell was looking for this on 1 episode? The answers can not have a D, I, C or K in them - this is for a puzzle with a Dick van Dyke theme.

Laura Meeker was a performer with the U.S.O. when she and Rob met. Hope that helps you.

The Buddy question is a bit difficult. But I remember him "looking for" his tax return, after throwing it in the trash. And I remember him looking for eggs and ham in the Petrie's fridge to make Eggs Benedict (was it Eggs Benedict?). I guess you could say he often looked for a laugh. Again, this one is tough!

He was looking for a job in "Buddy Can You Spare a Job?" I don't know if that helps you.
