"Our Very First Telethon" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I love that episode where Danny Tanner was doing a "We Love Our Children Telethon", Jerry Lewis style.

There were songs in this episode were "What I Did for Love" (from "A Chorus Line"), "Lollipops and Gummi Bears" and a rendition of the Beach Boys classic "Be True to Your School". I love the part where Stephanie was dancing into a song called "Love Shack" by the B-52's.

I love that song and I heard it yesterday during a Special Olympics' Track & Field competition.

The DJ played that song. I love the balloons falling at the end of an episode where Danny says that the grand total was $1,004,300, that ending reminds me of a New Year's episode of "Match Game" where the year was changed from '78 to '79 and the same falling balloon.

I love the part when DJ was singing with Michelle it was so cute and adorable. That DJ can sing very good.

I agree, "Lollipos and gummibears" is a very cute song and DJ (Candace) sing the song very good. And little Michelle to - yeah, that episode is very good.

The funniest part of that episode was when Danny sits down in the chair and falls asleep, and then Michelle starts singing "itsy witsy spider" - that was sooo cute.

I loved that part and then he wakes up and Kimmy Gibbler is riding her tricycle!
