Default For everyone who has the season 2 DVD, state the problems you are experiecing with

the eps. So far, certain eps FREEZE in the middle of the episode. There was freezing all through the Bloopers. Let me just say I didn't experience any of this when i received TC eps on VHS. Damm i'm mad

I couldn't watch Strange Bedfellows on my DVD player. Once the opening credits ended, it froze. I watched it on my PS2 and it froze near the end. I tried it again on my regular DVD player and caught the ending I missed. There were other glitches here and there but nothing too bad.

I haven't had any real problems with season 2 so far. At first, though, I couldn't get the Chris Mann commentary to play at all. After I took the disc out and put it back in, though, it began working properly and has been working properly ever since.

I haven't had any problems with the extras or the episodes.

Same thing happend with me on the commentary. I've watched everything on the DVD set, and I have no problems.

So far, I've only watched most of disc 4 (everything except the "best of's" of each character or couple, all of disc 1 and I'm in the middle of disc 2. Out of those, I only had trouble playing "Stanley Cassanova." It froze during the middle fade-out of the episode and skipped right over to the next episode. I will have to reload the disc again and try it that way. I have yet to finish disc 2 and all of disc 3.

For me, when I started to play "The Baby Sitters" on the 3rd disc, I selected "Play" and it went to the middle fade-in in the episode- the part where the camera zooms out when Jack is holding the baby. I went back to the DVD menu to try again and got the same thing. So I had to rewind to the beginning of the ep so I could see the whole thing...Ugh!

That was the only ep I had a problem with. Everything else worked fine for me.

And why do you think we are experiencing these many problems on Three's Company DVDs? I have never heard problems like these on other new DVDs.

I just got back from watching "The Bird Song" (2nd to last episode on the last disc), and it was the most glitched up episode ever.

-It did the same thing it did to my "The Baby Sitters" ep, it started at the middle fade-in, this time everybody was at the Regal Beagle.

-It kept freezing up when I rewinded it to the begininng (like with "The Baby Sitters").

-After I finished rewinding, it would NOT let me do anything. It wouldn't even let me stop the DVD!

-Right at the end, when Mr. Roper comes up to talk to Jack & Janet (this was after Jack almost killed Chrissy), there was a "layer change" if that's what it's called. You know how all the episodes were digitally remastered? Well, it wasn't like that. It looked like original reel footage- it was blurred and everything. It only lasted about 5 seconds, though...then when the scene changed, it was back to normal.

Wow...

You really have to be careful in handling the DVD discs. I have had no problems with both of my sets (S1 and S2). Make sure there are no scratches on the disc and make sure the discs aren't close to the sun.

Or, maybe your DVD player had been on too long. Apex DVD player is the best.

As I posted in another topic, I had a similar problem with "Stanley Casanova" as swedeace did. The first time I watched it, it froze in the middle. I tried it on a different DVD player, and it was even worse.. the episode wouldn't play at all, and I couldn't even stop the disc; I had to physically take it out.

But I did go and exchange my set about a week ago and so far I haven't had any problems with the new one, though I haven't watched everything on it.

My S1 set is problem-free, as are the first two discs on S2.

Sun? What sun? My DVD player is in my bedroom, and it's dark 24/7. I never open the curtains or window in my room, so that's not the problem.
