Default Average life span

What are the correct average life spans? A girl in my class says 85 for men, 80 for women. I thought it was like 74 for men and 79 for women.

Who's to think about?

And they pull me behind, as I let off the pedal.
Why should I divide what feels so right?
Is this where I want to lay?

It's lower than what your classmate said. I think it's either 78 Women/74 Men or 76 Men/72 Women.

78 women, 74 men sounds about right. That's what I found on a few websites. But the sources vary. I've heard 82 women/80 men, 79 women/72 men, 79 women/74 men, or the one you said.

I'm 27 yrs old & i'm glad to be able to live another day even though i don't pray to God enough for being able to see another day. The way young black males be gettin killed everyday in the hoods across america before they reach their 30's is a sad situation. I remember when Boyz N The Hood movie came out & director John Singleton had put a message up on the screen saying how a lot of black males in the hood don't live to see 25.

Her religion teaches her that there were people way back who lived to be 900/1000. Does anyone here believe in this?

A woman's average lifespan is def. higher than the man's. I'm pretty certain it's 79-woman, 74-man.

Yes, I do. I'm taught the same thing. My religion teacher said that was how old Adam and Eve were. I think it would be weird to be that old! I've never been told why people lived to be that old then and now people don't, but my friend says that it's because God realized that there were to many people on the planet.

It would. If many are sick and dying at 100, imagine 1000!

I personally don't believe in that, but some do, so I'll respect their opinions.

I am religious, but I don't believe in the living to 1000 part of it. I wasn't taught that, but different religions believe in different things.
