What's the deal with Biography?! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Last night, Biography showed Columbo instead of NewsRadio and Night Court. Tonight, they're showing Sharon Tate's biography. According to Biography.com they are going to air NewsRadio on Monday. But the episode is "Boston", so they're skipping "The Lam" and "Clash of the Titans". Plus, for the few other NC fans here, Biography is skipping the 2nd part of a 2 parter. So what's the deal?

Back when A&E was still showing NR, they used to skip episodes all the time, and there was no rhyme or reason to it. But usually they would go back and show the ones they skipped at a later date. I remember one time they showed "Who's the Boss" Pt 1, and then showed "Look Who's Talking", and THEN they showed Pt 2. Go figure. And another time they completely skipped "The Public Domain"...and never went back to it. That's now one of the only episodes from seasons 1-4 I don't have on tape. I'm sure there's some crazy reason why they do it the way they do, but we may never know what it is.
