Default Confused!

I have only watched Frasier and Friends occasionally -- I know the main story arcs but am not avid fans. Anyway, I have never watched an hour of television in my life that was so funny overall but at the same time had such a wretched ending!

Wouldn't it have been perfect if they had left it with Frasier signing off at the station? Instead, they left this weird cliffhanger involving the flight to Chicago. So now what happens? Is Frasier moving to Chicago permanently or is he going to convince Charlotte to move to San Francisco with him?

I didn't get the ending at all. I know they are trying to keep the Crane character going, but they could've brought closure to the series and still picked up where they left off. I think it ruined an otherwise great series finale.

Yeah that confused me too. I've heard talk about a spinoff, maybe this will all be answered if the spinoff ever becomes a reality. My guess is that Frasier moved to Chicago to be with Charlotte.

It really doesn't matter whether Frasier stayed in Chicago with Charlotte or whether Charlotte went to San Francisco with Frasier.....The point was that Frasier was not going to let this wonderful lady get away, and it was worth making a major change in his life (be it Chicago or San Francisco) to be with her.

The final locale or employment position wasn't the important thing...the important thing was that after years of searching, Frasier had finally found true love and happiness.

That was Bebe's son, who botched up Frasier's Botox sessions!

I actually really didn't like the finale, and not because he didn't end up with Lilith (all though I am a bit miffed lol). It was perfect until that last scene in the airplane- there was no closure! Just an awful cliffhanger that will probably never ben answered because it was the end! Other than that last scene, bravo!

I think having Frasier move to Chicago brought a lot more closure than if he had gone to San Fransisco.

Going to San Francisco would've been the safe way to end everything. The show took a chance and added a twist. I applaud them for doing that.

i loved the fact that he went to chicago. it set up a good premis for the possible spinoff, and if there is no spinoff then the viewers can just imagine there own ending for charlotte and dr. crane
