My blood type is 0 positive. I found this out when I donated blood to the Red Cross. Type 0 is the most common, but it's also the most in demand.
According to a pamphlet I got in the mail, 0 positive can be transfused to more than 85% of the population (0 positive, 0 negative, B positive, B negative and AB positive).

0 negative blood types can be transfused to anyone, any blood type.

Also according to the Red Cross, donating blood saves up to 3 lives. And, only 3% of people who qualify to donate do so. That's why I am going to set up another appointment to donate for next Monday at a local church.
