What the heck was the purpose of this organization anyway?

Which one, the one for Susan or the one for Suzy?

Well it was suppossed to be a way for Susan's parents to do some good in Susan's name with all of the money and other goods she was going to inherit or get from them as wedding gifts. In terms of the show it was a way to make George feel guilty and not let him off of the engagement hook so easily.
