Angry Television and Talking

I don't know if it's just me but I hate it when I'm watching TV and someone comes into the room and starts talking to me. I think this is really rude because it isn't like there asking me something important. My mom does this ALL the time. Monday evening I'm watching Star Trek-Deep Space Nine and my mom comes into the room and starts complaining about how rude my younger sister had just been to her. And she talks for like three minutes about it. Later the same night, I'm watching Still Standing and she comes into the room and does the exact same thing. It drove me crazy. Why couldn't she wait for a commercial or until after the shows were over?

I think it's your choice of TV shows. If I walked into a room and someone was watching either of those two programs, I would think they'd WANT to be interupted. Someone watching a Discovery Channel Show, or 60 Minutes...I'd leave them alone. Have you tried watching TV in the bathroom on the john? They might leave you alone in there...

My husband does that to me all the time! He also starts yacking when I am on the phone. I have told him to shut up(in a nice way) and he doesn't do that much anymore. But I agree! It is annoying!

My Mom does that sometimes and it's really annoying but generally she's pretty good about stuff like that. What I hate more is when she's clanking around in the kitchen while I'm trying to watch something. Argh!

Wow. Same thing happened to me while I was watching Still Standing on Monday, except it was multiple family members interupting.

My Family does that to me all the time thats part of the reason why I just watch tv down in my apartment away from my family because ESPECIALLY on Thursday (CSI night) I do not want to be disturbed
