Has anyone else seen this movie? My friends and I saw it recently and we all liked it. I still like Dead Poet's Society better, but at least this movie was a lot less depressing. What did you guys think of the movie?

I liked it, though I think I preferred the first half. I didn't know the movie would feature the students as adults years later. I was used to them all as teenagers and would have been interested if the focus stayed on those years. Other than that, I did enjoy it.

I hated it. I'll admit, a lot of that is due to the conditions I had when I saw it (tired, cranky, on a flight back to the States sitting next to a screaming baby) but I thought the movie was just soooo boring. Didn't get the point at all. It just went on and on and on about... um... nothing I cared about. Dead Poets Society was a fantastic movie - I'd take that any day over this one.
