Ruthie said she wanted to go to school in mexico next year? Does that mean she will be leaving the Camden house and the show?

I really hope not. She is the main reason I watch it. Anyone that has any information please let me know. I really do not want her to leave.

I haven't heard anything at all about Mackenzie leaving the show...

But, this business about going to school in Mexico certainly makes it sound like she might be on fewer episodes next season... I'm not sure why she would be leaving the show...with probably only one season left, she should finish out the run. It's not like she's going to college or anything...

Maybe next season, Maria will be living at the Camden house, and then at the end of the year, in the series finale, they'll allude to the fact that Ruthie is going to attend school in Mexico...which we'll never see...

I doubt Mackenzie will leave. Ruthie might leave for Mexico for next summer. It seems like they are making it appear that a lot of characters might be leaving. Like Cecilia going to college, Chandler going to Pennsylvania, and Roxanne going to Iraq. I kind of want all of those "extra" characters to leave. I want it to be the original cast agian, which it can never be. Ohwell.

zap2it.com reported a few days ago that both Matt and Simon will be back on a permanent basis this fall (Mary will still make guest appearances). I know that they're hoping to refocus the show on the family for the final season, which is why some of the side characters (Chandler, Cecilia, Roxanne) will be leaving or only making occasional guest appearances.
