VH1 put Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" on "Awesomely Bad Videos" list for using and dancing with an animated cat for a lead co-star. A commentor on that show said that the cat danced better than her which was pretty embarassing.

Oh I remember that. That video was called "Can't Hold Us Down". The video faded into obscurity and is rarely shown.

JUst about all of these new rap videos. They suck so bad.
The Polymorphic Spree video for Night and Day.
The Modest Mouse video.
The New Found Glory video off their new album.

That's all I can think of now. There's another video that I think is terrible, but I can't remember the band.

Opposites Attract was a CUTE video. Back when Paula was popular (and I mean, popular for herself, not for being a television judge), I remember that video was so well-liked. That video was for her what Thriller was to MJ, what Like A Prayer was to Madonna, what Sledgehammer was to Peter Gabriel. It was a great video and the only reason the video gets slammed is because it's "okay" to bash Paula

Actually I don't like the video either, but I have to defend it. The "Can't Hold Us Down" was in fact a hit in the major music video stations (including MTV and Fuse,) it was also one of MTV's Top 5 most played vids at the time.

BTW, all old videos fade into obscurity, and are rarely shown. Why should "Can't Hold Us Down" be any different?... When was the last time you've seen Janet's "I Want You"?... and that vid is less than 2 months old.

Mick Jagger's Lets Work has to be the worst video ever... a generic background with Mick and company jogging to really cheesy dance pop
