VH1 sucks

I caught part of VH1's "Best Week Ever" last night, a show that talks to random comedians about stuff that happened this week. Several comedians were all "thank god Friends is over", "I never watched it in the first place", but.... the same morons went on and on when the topic went to The OC.

I mean, Friends hadn't really been great since season 6, but nonetheless, it stood the test of time. The OC, for all I care, is a fad much like the reality shows. Will The OC run for 10 years? doubtful.

Its funny that comedians prefer a show like The OC over a COMEDY?!
Im not really into dramas, especially the whole OC/One Tree Hill/Everwood type.

IMO, they're UNfunny sitcoms.
If I watch a drama -- I want a mystery or action.
Or something like Fantasy Island which is a thing of its own.

There was plenty of "Friends" backlash this year, with all the hype surrounding the finale.

Bashing the show became the hip thing to do I guess.

Probably half of those comics on that VH1 show would have killed to be a writer on "Friends."

I agree.... partly because I was a basher.
But I gave the show another chance and proved myself wrong.
