TV couple with better chemistry: George/Weezie or Florida/James?

James and Florida Evans clearly haf the better chemistry to me. Weezie did nothing for me.

I agree with you. James and Florida were much better. Just a shame their time together wasn't as long as George and Weezie's.

The thing that always seperated these two couples was that the Evans were a little bit more classy than the Jeffersons but was just stuck in the Ghetto.

I'd say George and Louise. George would fire with an insult and she'd put him "back" into his place most of the time. They were funnier than the Good Times couple, IMO. Funnier = better chemistry

I like James and Florida much better. They were a great couple together and it was more realistic.

George and Louise was good. As George became mellower Louise increasingly became more boring. She had more of an edge about her on All in the Family and in the first three seasons of the Jefferson's. Louise Jefferson was just a boring character.

True. Louise became this blueblooded snob type character after George calmed down. I think they toned George down around the time that they gave them a granddaughter.

I can't decide which couple was better in terms of chemistry. I like them both, although after James died it was as if he never existed in that show. Florida got engaged about 6 months after his death. I can see Flroida without James, but I can't picture Weezie without George.

I would have to say James and Florida. George and Louise had good chemistry too, but James and Florida seemed more "red hot" and flirted with one another much more than George and Louise.

i think James and George would have gotten along great. George may have had money but he was not too high and mighty to get down.

James was more funny when he wasn't supposed to be. Example, when he was told that he was too old for the apprentice, he said-"TOO OLD?, we talkin about workin not playing stick ball"-LOL LOL!!!!!!
