Post Who do you think will pick up FOL?

I doubt FOL will stay off the air for long, so who do you think will pick it up? Maybe Disney, since they are airing the reunion film. Maybe TNN, because they often pick up N@N's leftovers. Maybe Lifetime, as they don't have a show dealing with girls, so this would help to round out their niche. Maybe USA may even decide to take it back. One thing is for sure though - I have removed N@N from my favorites on my remote now.

I think either TNN or FFC (Fox Family Channel) will pick up FOL. FFC has recently picked up "Growing Pains" and "Wonder Years", so maybe after the reunion movie's rating are seen, they will see what a hit FOL really is.
I agree with you Coily, I know longer watch N@N, unless it's to sit their and diss them for taking FOL off the air and replacing it with such dumb shows.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fox Family Channel
or Odyssey Channel pick up FOL. The Odyssey channel has Bewitched and Happy
Days and a few other tv shows, but FFC
would probably have a much better chance
picking up FOL.

I think Disney SHOULD pick it up. If they were to do that I would have new respect for that network. And it would make perfect sence.

As for who I(me, little old opinionless Max) think Will pick it up, I really don't care as long as they follow these two simple guidelines:

1.You must be a channel that everyone here gets.

2.You must treat the show like it was your child; never ditch for any marathon and never cancel it.

I hope it's NOT Disney or Fox Family, cause if N@N won't air the "taboo" episodes, there's no way that these would. Maybe on USA or TNT,TBS, etc.

I would vote for all channels mentioned except Odyssey and Disney because I don't get Odyssey either at home or school and no Disney at home. The reunion show numbers need to be above average for anyone to rush out and pick up FOL though.

"Facts" nds to go right back to USA where it belonged and WGN as well. I never pictured it being on TBS but then again I never imagined Roseanne being picked by TBS either.

I kind of agree with lesliem14, unless the reunion show is spectacular, I just don't see any network rushing to pick it up. Call me pessimistic, but I think it probably will be off the air for awhile, unless it stays on TVLand.

If not, I can't see TNN airing it. I think before Lifetime, I could see We or Oxygen airing it, because they are both new women's channels with not much to offer in the way of programming (at least nothing that has caught my eye). I could see Fox Family getting it, but like others said, I don't want to see that, because they will never air controversial episodes. I could also see it going back to USA.

I think it would be cool if Lifetime picked it up then they would have it all I mean they have Desinging women a middle aged women's show and Golden Girls there elderly womens show now if they pick up FOL they have a show for young women.

Jinny: When I found my mom- I had just got back from school my dad wasnt home from work yet - John Jr. was out riding his - his motorcycle KC i dunno I think you were at a friends house. I dont remember. I remember I had a pretty good day at school I gotta a- B+ on an algebra test. I knew my mom was gonna be real happy about that cause - She really got off on stuff like that. So I came home I- uh- I called out for her but I didnt- I didnt hear anything so - I went into the bedroom - There was such a - a strange smell I didnt know what it was and then I saw her two feet sticking out from the bathroom and I remember I flashed on the wicked witch of the east you know the one that Dorothy landed on - I went over pushed the door and I thought she must of fallen and hit the side of the sink or the toilet or something....Because the whole side of her head was open - and then - I realized what the smell was - Blood- My god there was so much blood...I just stood there - I just - frozen I couldn't move. Then Finally I heard the front door and I must of screamed because John Jr. came in pushed me out of the way and - and then everyone came Black and Whites - uniforms..They found the gun - put it in a bag. Then they put her in a bag too. I remember your face - Dad - Because it looked like someone had shot the side of your head off too. I knew you were in the living room and I knew you were drinking because I remembered the sound of the ice crackling in the glass as you kept pouring - and I remember thinking - God that must be nice - you know - to be able to drink like that and forget. Make your mind like a - a big black board and - and use booze to erase all the thoughts that must of been going through your mind all the questions..guilt..Just keep pouring just let it all slip away. You know like sand through your fingers - till theres nothing left -- God i wanted to feel that way too....
