And no, I don't mean UM. It was quite tasteless I might add. At about 3:30 am on my local ABC station they showed a commercial where he was talking about where to call if you were in trouble for writing a bad check. Basically he was standing in front of a book case saying something like, if you've written a bad check, it may not be your fault. For help call this number. The commercial probably lasted anywhere from 5-8 seconds.
I saw it and I just about jumped out of my seat. I was like, "IT'S ROBERT STACK! LOOK." My dad came and saw it and he was pretty disgusted about it. He told me it wasn't right that they were showing that after he's been dead for almost a year. People who don't know he's dead are going to think he's very much alive. Unfortunately that's not the case. I wonder what kind of reaction this might get from people. I'm tempted to call the station this week and just let them know it was shown. Not really to lash out at them. Oh, by the way, it wasn't an older commercial. He looked and sounded just like he did in the last few seasons of UM. |
