Right here! Sofia Coppola made her mark with this one, and a mighty impressive one as far as I'm concerned. The music, the cast of characters (ones you can't forget) she brought together, the haunting feeling of it all.. I love this movie.

Awesome! Hey, any fans, come and visit my rpg pleeeeease
We're still in desperate need of a mother and a Trip, but there are many other roles available to for anyone who wants to play. Or if your not interested in those characters, you can make up your own! There is also a VS Talk section where we talk about the movie and book. It's a great site, we're all a close bunch ![]() Here's the address: VS Board |

The Virgin Suicides is one of my favorite books and movies. The book is written so well that its poetic and Kirsten Dunst is brilliant in the film as Lux.

I liked it, and I thought it was very underrated. Sofia didn't deserve an Oscar for "Lost In Translation," but she did for "The Virgin Suicides." Amazing work.
BTW, the casting for the film was perfect as well. |

SBTB Geek - I absolutely agree!
It’s a shame that such a beautiful piece of filmmaking has gone unnoticed by the hierarchy in the movie business. Goes to prove how the public has better taste. Even the soundtrack by ‘Air’ was perfect. At first I was wondering how the novel would be adapted to the movie screen. However; Sofia’s supreme directorial abilities worked a treat. |
