I just caught the end of a Talking Heads video VH1 Classics and I swear that was a younger John Goodman on there! Was that him?

yes, John Goodman was in the WILD WILD LIFE video. Which was from the soundtrack off the movie TRUE STORIES that was written and directed by TH frontman David Byrne.... John Goodman was also in that movie. This was 2-3 years before Roseanne started.
