Thumbs up The Cult of Jo Polniaczek

I just picked up the People article today, and in it it says, ..."producer Deborah Joy LeVine encountered the cult of Jo Polniaczek". It then decribes the cashier crying after seeing Jo.
I couldn't help but crack up at that bit. If there's a cult of Jo Polniaczek anywhere, it's here.
And me myself would gladly be a member.
Yeah, I say Nancy McKeon is overrated all the time, but you know, she made one hell of a character with Jo Polniaczek. And I totally respect her for that. Hell, if Nancy McKeon came into my work and ordered something, after she would leave, I'd probably react the same way the girl did in the article. "I just took an order from Jo Polniaczek!" I'd be estatic.
So I guess my point is that Jo Polniaczek is just the coolest.

Cults are evil. I refuse to be a "cult". I love Jo, but I am no cult.

Don't mind me.

Maybe we can pick another word- how about trend or mania- as in "Jo Polniaczek mania?" Well, I admit I don't think I'd exactly be calm if I saw her either. I would put NMK on my list of favorite actresses, but to be honest when I first came to this board, I was so surprised to see how many people are so much more obsessed than I am (I wouldn't call myself obsessed anyhow).

I like to make a special effort to catch NMK movies whenever I have time, but I don't go to NMK websites or look for posters of her or anything like that. Well, there's nothing wrong with that for those who are obsessed, I guess. It's more of a comfort to me to observe young people obsessing over one of the FOL girls than, say, Britney Spears (gosh, I've knock Britney so many times...I'll stop now )

LOL, I saw that too Cokies.
Nancy McKeon is a great actress, but I would have never even noticed her if it wasn't for Jo. Jo Polniazcek is, without a doubt, my all time favorite TV character. I relate to her so well, and if I were to see Nancy once she walked out I would indeed be saying, "there goes Jo!"

As for this "cult" thing; I am the Lisa Cult, but I am a nice Cult. Tell me you hate Lisa? Go ahead, I won't get mad. I'll just ignore you. So there can be nice Cults too

Yes, that was certainly apart of my point. Nancy McKeon would be nothing without Jo Polniaczek. She would have no credibility. I'll be honest, I've never seen any of her tv movies, and The Division was about as enticing as C-SPAN.
But hey, she was Jo Polniaczek! The female equivelent of The Fonz( well, not exactly, but you know what a mean). She's just so cool, a very strong character. Yet, you see an episode like "Double Standard", and you see she's much more sensitive. I mean, she's so relatable.
I think I said enough.

This song shows an important message

*Look at me, You may think you see who I really am, but you'll never know me. Every day it's as if I play a part. Now I see if I wear a mask, I can fool the world, but I cannot fool my heart. Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me? When will my reflection show who I am inside? I am now in a world where I have to hide my heart, and what I believe in. But somehow, I will show the world what's inside my heart, and be loved for who I am. Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me? Why is my reflection someone I don't know? Must I pretend that I'm someone else, for all time? When will my reflection show who I am inside? There's a heart that must be free to fly. That burns with a need to know the reason why. Why must we all conceal,
what we think, how we feel?
Must there be a secret me, I'm forced to hide? I won't pretend that I'm someone else, for all time. When will my reflection show who I am inside, when will my reflection show who I am inside?*

*I Pledge of Allidgence to Lisa Whelchel, the best actress in the world. And to the republic, for which she stands, one nation, loving Lisa, forever and ever, Amen*
