Vint and Naomi's jobs aren't that low-paying!
I can't see how Vint and Naomi don't have enough money to at least buy a small house. They're jobs aren't that bad.

Well I could see the problem when Naomi was just checker. But when she got Assistant Manager there shouldn't have been a problem with money. And Vint could have made a lot more money as a real locksmith instead of working as a "key-grinder."
