After watching this show with my kids, I realized that Aaron spelling stole this show from the 1970’s and updated it. It was Called Happy Days

Both Brenda and Brandon’s parents are the “cool” parents the Cunningham’s.

Brenda and Brandon are Ritchie and Joanie

Dylan is “the Fonz”

The other two guys are just filling the Potsie and Ralph Characters

They hang out in a malt shop with a cool owner 90210- Peach pit owned by Nat , Happy Days- Arnolds owned by Arnold/ Al , and face teen problems, its just that the problems of the 50’s are not as intense as those of the nineties.

I have noticed many shows today are retreads of older shows.

EX: 8 simple rules started out as an upscale remake of “Rosanne” ( the kids even played the same characters) now that Ritter is gone , it is now taking a “one day at a time” role.
