You might've already made up your mind about this, but rather than using the Windows XP Firewall (It's very sad), maybe you should put some thought to buying the "McAfee Firewall". You can tell the McAfee Firewall to Block, Filter, or Allow Internet action to and from your computer, and you can configure it to tell the Firewall what programs can and cannot access the Internet. i.e., if it's a fishy-looking program and you don't know what it is, you can tell it to not access the Internet.

My only suggestions are:
1. Click "Start", "Find", "Files or Folders", tell it to search "My Computer" and in the search field, just put " firewall " . 2. Check C:\Program Files folders that may have the firewall. 3. Check C:\Windows folders that may have the firewall. |

I found it! 1. Control Panel
2.Network and Internet connections 3.Network Connections 4. Right click on the icon(in my case ATT) and clicked properties. 5. Click Advanced and there is a box to check if you want to activate the firewall. I just wanted to see if I had the firewall activated. I have been having no luck connecting to MSN Messenger and that was one option to check on. My firewall is not activated so I don't know what the problem is! I have emailed MSN support and hopefully will get this resoved. Thanks guys!
