Default In "The Poor Loser"...

Wally was talking to June about the way Beaver was acting and he said something like "...and he told me to..." and he was a little hesitant. I was watching this with my friend and she said that he probably told him to "go **** himself". My question is, where would Beaver pick up such language if that's what he said?

Back in that time period, I think what they were insinuating is that Beaver probably said, "go to h***".
I've often wondered what Beaver was supposed to have said in the hallway at school in "Substitute Father". The time when the bell drowned him out but Miss Landers heard the word and was appalled.

June should have washed the Beaver's mouth out with soap.

In my opinion, Beaver was a little creep in this episode. Whatever he said to Wally, Wally should have washed his mouth out with soap himself. He was old enough to be an authority figure to Beaver and being older he was being disrespected by his spoiled little brother who told Wally he should go because he had originally had plans.

He probably picked up this language from the place most boys pick up their vices, from their friends. I'm sure Richard or Gilbert knew a colorful word or two.

Wally wasn't the type of person to do that. Now if it were me, I would have kicked his ass.

Wally should have locked Beaver in the bathroom and went to the game himself.

I think Wally did the right thing letting Beaver go to the game instead of himself. In the end, Beaver knew he was being a selfish "rat" , and as a result, he had a miserable time at the game.
