Who was credited in the opening in each year? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I haven't seen this show in years, but does anyone remember if Howard Hesseman was ever credited in the show's main titles? I don't think he was which is weird since he was playing the lead actresses' spouse in the last season. It seems strange that even Nannette Fabray was credited in the opening in the end and not Hesseman.

Who was credited in each season? I believe it was bonnie franklin, mackenzie, valerie, richard masur and pat harrington in year 1 and part of year 2, then masur was replaced by mary louise wilson in year 2 (they switched from the film of them moving to the clips from past shows at that point). Wilson was written out and for years 3 and 4 it was franklin, mackenzie, harrington and bertinelli (I believe they adopted the portraits that morphed into the actors' faces in year 4 and updated them each year through season 7). Michael Lembeck was added in year 5, then he and mackenzie were replaced by ron rivkin and glen scarpelli in year 6, then I think in year 7 it was just bonnie, pat harrington, scarpelli and valerie b., then in year 8 they added back lembeck and mackenzie and added boyd gaines and shelly fabares. In year 9 I think it was just bonnie, harrington, boyd gaines, mackenzie (replaced after a while by nanette fabray) lembeck and bertinelli.

I haven't seen the last season in quite awhile but I thought Howard Hesseman was credited or at least credited in the episodes he appeared in. Its been a long time since I've seen them so I could be wrong.

He was credited in the opening after Bonnie Franklin but it was only in the eps that he was actually in.
