Reality shows 'crass', says Frasier

Former Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is no fan of reality television shows.

He thinks it’s too bad that audiences are tuning into these degrading shows and that TV bosses can only attract large viewing numbers by unleashing an endless stream of “crass” reality programs.

He says: "No one has cracked the nut of how to get viewership without being sensational or crass. Unfortunately, audiences are responding to people behaving badly."

I hate reality shows too. I find them disgusting and degrading. I'll watch Full House before I watch any of those shows. That says a lot.

I definitely agree with Kelsey. I hate reality shows. Most of the people I know watch Survivor, Fear Factor, and all of those other stupid shows, but I hate them! I don't think they're entertaining at all.

I totally agree with all of you! I want to be entertained not tune in to see what disgusting body part of an animal is being consumed that week.

Absolutely. With the popularity of these cheap reality shows, and the ending of the last great sitcoms this year, it doesn't look good at all.

The only reality show I like is "The Swan" where some1 gets madeover & they go on a pageant. The ladies look beautiful!

I agree with Kelsey, reality shows have destroyed television, and now with shows like Frasier and Friends going off, people are beginning to see just how much they have, since the networks have been so hellbent with flash-in-the-pan reality shows to be able to give actual decent shows a shot
