Default If You Were To Change . . .

.... TV Land's June 2004 schedule, what changes would you make? Keep in mind to use ONLY the shows TV Land has ACCESS to.

Here are mine:
1) First, I would drop FAMILY TIES and Cheers altogether. They clearly don't belong on TV Land.

2) Second, I would add Three's Company to the line-up.

3) Third, I would drop both Leave It To Beaver andGunsmoke. Each show has been on TV Land long ENOUGH.

Here's my schedule:

I'm a little bored, so I'll play along.

6am Gunsmoke
7am Bonanza
8am The Waltons

9:30 Mister Ed
10am Dick Van Dyke Show
10:30 I Love Lucy
11am I Dream of Jeannie
11:30 Bewitched
12pm The Brady Bunch
12:30 Family Ties
1pm Bonanza
2pm Gunsmoke
3pm Bewitched
3:30 Bewitched
4pm Green Acres

8:30 The Brady Bunch (in July: Munsters)
9pm I Love Lucy
9:30 Green Acres
10pm Bewitched
10:30 I Dream of Jeannie
11pm Three's Company
11:30 Three's Company
12am Sanford & Son
12:30 All in the Family
1am The Dick Van Dyke Show

4am Sanford & Son
4:30 All in the Family
5am Three's Company
5:30 Three's Company

Not the best, but at least most of the shows air at least twice a day. I've kept Family Ties because I like it and it doesn't belong on Nick at Nite. MacGyver is off because it airs on Spike TV.

Here's how N@N June Should be (is this okay here LucyFan?)
9:00pm Full House
9:30pm The Cosby Show
10:00pm Who's The Boss?
10:30pm Roseanne
11:00pm Cheers
11:30pm Wings
12:00am Full House
12:30am The Cosby Show
1:00am Who's the Boss?
1:30am Roseanne
2:00am Cheers
2:30am Wings
3:00am Full House
3:30am The Cosby Show
4:00am Who's the Boss?
4:30am Roseanne
5:00am Cheers
5:30am Wings

All shows air 3 times a night, and an airing of each can be dropped for a new show. I'm pretty sure I included every show.

ahh yes....
the pride is strong.
Definately more FT, more Cheers would be nice -- but Ive got the DVDs to make me happy.

personally, Id stop airing dramas.
I think TVLand should become a sitcom-centric network.

I would establish the rule that each show can air only one time a day so that different shows could be shown. NO MORE MULTIPLE AIRINGS!!!

I liked how it was back in the Summer of 2003, when I watched TV Land, and when TV Land had good shows. TV Land is bumping all their good shows into bad timeslots.

I disagree. It's called TVLand, not SitcomLand. They only have five dramas as it is, and only one airs twice (well one airing of that show will be dropped soon). Five out of 24 is roughly 1/6, so 5/6 of the day is sitcoms and 1/6 is dramas. I wouldn't mind if they dropped the westerns, though. Hallmark airs westerns all day on Saturdays, and Bonanza comes on there everyday twice. Maybe we can get Charlie's Angels and the Rookies back, or maybe some Hart to Hart or Family.
