I know for a fact that jive turkey was used in the Jeffersons, Good Times, and That's My Mama but i can't recall if it was ever used on a episode of Sanford and Son. If someone can help me that would be great.

I think it might be the episode when Rollo and Lamont have the two girls come over Rollo's apt. I'm not sure. But i do know that Fred or Lamont never used the phrase Jive Turkey. |

I don't know the title of the show, but there was a lady that called Lamont a Jive Turkey. It was the episode where Fred ate the 8 day old collard green. ("8 day old greens wouldn't agree with Superman") The lady that was telling Lamont about his astrological sign. After he went the second time to tell her about the mistake, he was born at night and he left, she called him a Jive Turkey.

That person was Lamont's astrologist. She wanted to get paid for her services and Lamont runs out and says ...."Bill me Momma!". After he left she faced the camera and said.."Jive Turkey." It was very funny.

Jive turkey was one of my favorite insults when I was a child! I prefer "M.F" nowadays!
