How do you get a computer out of safe mode? Everything is huge and it's annoying.

Since we're on computers here, my old computer crashed, so I got a new. On my old one I have some tax info on it I can't remove ( it keeps freezing up when I retry to remove it ). The computer guy told me to remove the hard drive and smash it or take a magnet and rub it on the hard drive. Where exactly is the hard drive in the back of the computer?

it doesnt hurt you computer, it is just a tool you can use to fix software problems - if the problem goes away when you are in safemode, then you know it is a software problem, NOT a hardware one |

you should be able to get back into normal mode by rebooting, as long as there are no software or driver conflicts; if it doesnt, you definately have a problem if you are using XP, try use the System Restore feature, in 98, the easiest solution would be a scanreg /restore at a DOS prompt (but that only works if you haven't rebooted more than 5 times since the problem started) |
