It could be worst. It could be 2 episodes of The Cosby Show.

I do agree though that some of those shows you mentioned should be on TV Land somewhere.

Cheers I agree, doesn't belong on TV Land, considering it's decent overplay elsewhere, but, Family Ties is crossing the border into being decently aged, and it's not being overly reran elsewhere, so I have no problem. (Of course, I happen to LIKE Family Ties, so...)

TV Land is the only channel that is airing Family Ties. So if TV Land takes it off, Family Ties will not be airing. It's twenty-two years old, isn't that old enough? Why is it that people aren't allowed to bash TCS without the thread being closed, ie: Nick@Nite in June, it's been closed. I didn't get to respond to the thread, and I'm pretty sure I know why it was closed. Yet a thread like this can be made asking for FT to be taken off. Perhaps Cheers only needs to be on one channel, either N@N or TV Land. So, if TV Land has to take one of the two off then take off Cheers, but please not Family Ties!

I think Family Ties and cheers should go back to nick at night...thats where it belongs!!! FT is 22 yrs old but it does not fit with shows 40 to 50 years old!!

Who cares if Cheers and Family Ties aren't as old as other shows. It doesn't make them any less classic

SORRY.....I DISAGREE....GET THEM OUT OF THERE... CHEERS IS PLAYED OUT...THOSE OTHER OLD SHOWS NEVER GET TIRESOME! AND FAMILY TIES....GIVE IT UP...A CLASSIC.....!!!!

Cheers is not played out at all. N@N never ran it into the ground like they did with Cosby. Cheers should move back to N@N, but it should have an earlier timeslot than 1-2 and 4-5AM. As for FT, it is an 80's sitcom, and is now old enough for TVLand. Let's be happy it has the nice 11PM spot - remember those N@N days...

Oh I know. When FT was on N@N it had an awful time slot. I'm glad it's on TVL at 10PM (Central), 11PM Eastern Time.

It could be a LOT worse. I think Family Ties should stay on TV Land. Cheers? Well... if it wouldn't air also on N@N and countless locals it would be alright.

I THINK the N@N June thread was closed because Pav has the "true" thread locked for a reason, until he has all the details.
