SitCommentary
A 2-Hour Long weekly special that features classic sitcom casts doing a standard table read for a classic sitcom episode. The next half hour is followed by the original uncut and unedited episode. The remaining half hour is a repeat of the same episode -- only now with the entire cast and crew doing a commentary. This sounds like a great idea. I love commentaries, and always wanted to know what goes on at a table read. Religious Obsession A (formerly) Catholic man who hasnt been to church in 15 years finds himself out of a job, his wife, and due to his gambling problem, his grandfather's foutune. Now he's begging to move into the "Brooklyn Project", where he must live with a Buddhist, a Jew, an atheiest, a Muslim, and a Christian minister. This can be really good, as long as you keep the characters real and don't go into a lot of cliches. Van Dyke My first show to be based around actors, rather than characters. This is the story of two brothers (Jerry and Dick Van Dyke) who must live with eachother when Dick breaks his hip, and their (often heard, but never seen) mother is at her death bed, for her 45 consecutive year. I love this idea, too. Especially the idea of the never-seen mother. There's something appealing and mysterious about characters you never see. Are you going to actually write these here on the Fan Fiction board, or are these just ideas? |

Some Shows have been scrapped, and some new ideas are here!
SCRAPPED: The Laws of Love Religious Obsession Paper and Plastic Complex STILL COMING: SitCommentary A 2-Hour Long weekly special that features classic sitcom casts doing a standard table read for a classic sitcom episode. The next half hour is followed by the original uncut and unedited episode. The remaining half hour is a repeat of the same episode -- only now with the entire cast and crew doing a commentary. Novel Ideas The story of a publishing company, and two freelance writers dying to get their stories out. Those two writers include a bookworm female who just wants to share her love for literature.... and a former female celebrity who wants to tell her "true story" They immediately find a hatred for eachother -- until eventually they are hired and assigned to work together on a nightmare project. The Box Office (spinoff of "Novel Ideas") The head of a multi-billion dollar film corporation suddenly finds himself with a bankrupt company. When the board heres of this -- he's fired from his head-honcho position and sent to manage "the box office" where he meets the strangest group of factory workers ever. Family and Life (New Title) A regular old family, living life as the rest of us do. With a son who's torn between the life with his "old family" (mom, dad, brother, sisters) and his "new family" (wife, kids, dog). No big catch, no big gimmick. Band Aid (spinoff of "Family and Life") The country's greatest marching band faces its bigges loss when its longtime conductor drops dead. While searching for a replacement, they come across Jake Sampsonite, a rocker who's just dying to get a gig. When the rocker and the band meet, it doesnt go over too well. But as both Jake and the band get to know eachother, they begin to change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Dollars & Scents The world's richest man finally meets his match -- a perfume saleswomen who defies all aspects of "class". As his new maiden learns the way of the rich, Gregorio (the billionaire) appreciates the small things in life. Cherry Picker A California native who went off to play for one of the world's best soccer teams is kicked out of the league for cheating (which he fully denies) and is forced to move in with parents and help with tending their cherry fields. Van Dyke My first show to be based around actors, rather than characters. This is the story of two brothers (Jerry and Dick Van Dyke) who must live with eachother when Dick breaks his hip, and their (often heard, but never seen) mother is at her death bed, for her 45 consecutive year. Failed Pilot His whole life, from the day he was born, Jack was told that he would someday become a pilot. And he did -- until now, when he suprises both his parents and his own family by quiting his job and tries to live his dream -- by producing his own TV show. But, things dont go as planned, and Jack finds himself WATCHING TV all day, raising the kids while Carrie (his wife) is off making the bacon (literally, and figuratively). NEW (at least somewhat) Yesterday (formerly known as "Davis" and completely reworked.) A sitcom that would air daily at Midnight, this chronicles the "life" of David Davies and what his previous day was like. The show airs year-round Monday-Friday. Premiering on New Year's Day, it showcases the little (and big) events in Davies' life. Throughout the course of the series Davies goes from being single to engaged to married to becoming a father to getting a divorce and becoming engaged again. He will also move frequently, and the show will be shot single camera. My Workplace The story of Chris Baker, a young girl who was just looking for a summer job to pay her way through college, but built a career out of it. Featuring the oldest boss in the world, who happens to be the only nice person in the entire office of Big Wigs Inc., the worlds leading wig-manufacturing corporation. MORE SOON All of my shows, the characters within them, and all likeness of the characters are property of myself, barwars88, and may not be used without my permission. All likeness between real life characters and their fictional counterparts are only a coincidence and are not to be taken seriously. Either am I. |

Still working on....

But, things dont go as planned, and Jack finds himself WATCHING TV all day, raising the kids while Carrie (his wife) is off making the bacon (literally, and figuratively). The Workplace (formerly known as "My Workplace") The story of the craziest group of coworkers since the days of Taxi, this truly is an ensemble show. Featuring the oldest boss in the world, who happens to be the only nice person in the entire office of Big Wigs Inc., the worlds leading wig-manufacturing corporation, in addition to countless other crazy characters. Now incorporating ideas from Novel Ideas and The Box Office. All of my shows, the characters within them, and all likeness of the characters are property of myself, barwars, and may not be used without my permission. All likeness between real life characters and their fictional counterparts are only a coincidence and are not to be taken seriously. Either am I. |
