Default 4/27 Performance Show.. spoilers

Gloria Estefan week

George and Fantasia have already went. Simon said Fantasia sounded like a cartoon (i think he said Donald Duck on helium.. that mightve just been me). George didnt do too well either.

Diana will sing "Turn the Beat Around"
John will sing "Music of My Heart"
from ET

I knew that's what they would sing. I knew it! Last night before I went to sleep, I was thinking about what would happen on AI the next day and I predicted mostly salsa type songs, and then I was like "But what about John Stevens? Oh, he's probably gonna sing that one Gloria song she did with NSYNC." O_O . And Diana singing "Turn the Beat Around" was pretty obvious. As soon as I heard that this week's theme would be Gloria Estefan I knew that's the song Diana would sing.

Okay over all this was the worst night for AI3...hmm maybe the rhythm didn't get me? Anyways here what I say:

Fantasia-Not her best but what can I say...the girl knows how to entertain.

George-Not good. He's too disappointing to even talk about.

LaToya-Not her best but she was good.

John-That was horrible...yet he will be back next week to reprise us with another horrible performance.

Jasmine-It was good but she really has trouble with staying in tune that could cost her in the long run.

Diana-She was the best tonight, though thats not saying too much. I actually did like the dress she wore tonight! Anyways good performance!

Maybe latin pop night was a bad idea.

None of the performances were great, but here's how I have it...

1)Diana DeGarmo (The best tonight overall. But is she getting fatter every week?)

2)Fantasia (Her weakest performance, but still good enough to be number 2 this week)

3)George Huff

4)Jasmine Trias

5)Latoya London (As Simon said, she sings well but she is quite boring.)

6)John Stevens (I felt embarresed for John after hearing that. That was the worst singing i've ever heard in the American Idol finals)

Now that we are down to the final six, it is becoming clear who should be the next American Idol. 5 out of the 6 sing great, but only 3 out of the 6 generate excitement. Those three are...

Fantasia
Diana DeGarmo
George Huff

I believe Fantasia should be the next American Idol with Diana a close second.

I'm going to put in as many votes as I can for everyone except JS. He needs to go, in my opinion.

But yeah for tonight's performances...I gotta do this quickly..

My ranking:

1. Diana
2. LaToya
3. Fantasia
4. George
5. Jasmine
6. John

Fantasia- I liked it! She had a good performance but what's with Simon's cartoon character comment? She's always sounded that way...lol...

George- I thought he was good too! From the rehearsals though, he really didn't look like he would enjoy this week at all. At least that's how I saw it- he didn't look like he liked the theme in general. But he had fun! Vocals could have been a little better I suppose, but I liked him.

La Toya- OH MAN. My favorite performance of hers EVER. For the first time in the whole competition (except maybe on Elton John night) she didn't bore me! She needs to do this type of stuff more often. She was amazing.

John- ........ehhh. Like I said in my last post, I knew he would pick that song. He was really out of tune. It didn't even look like he was trying hard at all (last week it did though) and I dunno it was just really out of tune. But I was so happy Simon was polite to him! I was afraid of what he'd say actually, cuz I knew it would probably be something mean or he'd send him the death wish (telling him it's his last week) but he didn't! So yeah. This was probably my least favorite of John's.

Jasmine- It was okay. I wish she would have picked a more upbeat song but she wasn't bad.

Diana- Hell yeah girl! haha..this is probably my 2nd favorite performance of hers (first still is Do You Love Me) but the song was perfect for her and she definitely had fun. Oh and I agree with Simon on her dress....I mean it was pretty until the bottom of it with all the cut up stuff lol.

Fantasia - Not her best, but still good.

George - Blah. His performance bore me to tears, and this one wasn't any different.

LaToya Okay

John - Not bad, just different. And what Simon said should make him feel really good. He acts so adult-like, even though you know all this pressure has got to be getting to him

Jasmine Alright, not her best, not her worst.

Diana - Good, not my favorite of her's, but best performance of the night.

And seeing JPL for half a second was worth watching that boring show... [/obsessedfan]

My rating would be:

Diana
Fantasia
Jasmine
John
LaToya
George

Yeah, at first I was like "OH MY GOSH"...and then 5 seconds later I was like, "PUT THE CAMERA ON JPL." I need to see him. I wish they could've mentioned him, just something about him. And did anyone see Matt? I thought I saw him, but it might now have been him.

Well now, wasn't THAT the most boring show I've ever seen in my entire life?

Ranking -

1. Diana
2. LaToya
3. Jasmine
4. Fantasia
5. George
6. [or 57896876590?] John

Fantasia's vocals were HORRIBLE. But she danced around good.

George... I can't even comment. He's gone.

LaToya - WOOOOOOO-YEAH!!!! She was awesome.

John - Moving on...

Jasmine - Pretty good, not her best. She hit one HORRIBLE note that my mom and I screamed at. But other than that, good.

Diana - fgjhigfhujaigoyjtuiayjhtauijhy AMAZING.

I was really happy that they showed JPL too!! But then I was mad because they only put him on camera for about two seconds, and they only showed him once.
I still miss him alot...

I think Diana did the best tonight! Who agress with me?

Only if JPL was still on the show, the show would be alot more exciting! Even my friends agree!
