My Spanish teacher, the idiot - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ew, she is such a FRIKIN idiot. First of all, her voice just makes me want to vomit. Secondly, she says "Ok...um...like" every two frikin seconds, the woman is in her 50's! I swear, she can't speak English or Spanish. And her family is Puerto Rican but she's lived here her whole life...so she should have little difficulty speaking both...right? Obviously not...the woman's insane. We'll be reading the book and she'll start writing stuff on the board, and we'll tell her it's wrong, and then she'll say "ok" and then CONTINUE to do what we just told her was wrong, and then we'll say it AGAIN, and once again she ignores it, then someone gets argumentative (I've never been obnoxious with a teacher but lemme tell you, with this woman...oooooo man) I ALWAYS have to correct her. She was frikin putting the adjective before the SUBJECT! And when we tell her she's wrong or she's so confusing she gets all defensive, she could easily say "Detention" to one of the obnoxious people in our class, but instead she fights back like a kid with their parents. This woman has been teaching Spanish for 30 years, and she still fails to make sense in a Spanish 2 class. Oh, and I know that people with a Spanish accent gets a "j" sound when they say "y"'s but no, she is insistant upon the fact that that's the ABSOLUTE CORRECT way...and instead of saying "yo" with a lil bit of an accent, she says "Jo" and really forces that J...and then always corrects us when we don't say it the same way. The woman...knows nothing...I swear, if I have her next year, I'm doing independant study.

Ew, last lil tidbit, she repeats...everything...we'll spend an hour and a half class period on ONE little tiny thing...and then the next day she'll repeat it again and write it all up on the board for a half hour, and then the next day and the next until we're ready to break open her window and bust out of that damn classroom. SHE WAS GOING OVER WHAT INFINITIVES WERE AND WE LEARNED THAT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF SPANISH 1!! Evil woman...

Ok, I'm done my rant.

what an idiot. in the 7 years i was in spanish i never paid attention and i even knew you're not supposed to do that.
