Perfect. Can't wait to get it. I already have Seasons 1 and 2. Now 3. It won't be long before all are out. Hopefully the date won't be pushed back, since it is tentative.

Ditto what TVJunkie101 and Undercover Angel said. I can't wait, I'm glad it's on the way.

Well now that Season 3 is coming.... Id definately be shocked if the whole series werent released.
Releasing "Season 3" of a show is a big turning point -- I dont think any series has ever stopped at Season 3 (or above)

Ive havent seen too much of this show, but from what I remember is was alright.
Maybe my uncle that works for Sony can hook me up -- hopefully.

If he doesn't hook you up, can I send him my list?

While the impending release of Season 3 is a good sign that all subsequent seasons will follow, I wouldn't take it as a 100% sure bet. It all depends on how each season sells. Trust me, if Season 3 bombs in sales, no way are we going to see Season 4.

Naturally, I anticipate owning the entire series one day, especially at the rate that the seasons are coming, but DVD release could be halted at any minute. Let's hope someday soon we're celebrating owning the complete series!

I won't have to buy it now Pav thanks to TV ONE. TV ONE should be airing season 3 sometimes In June.

I see it as a positive that it'll only be a 6 month difference between season 2 and 3 releases as opposed to the year long wait between the first and second seasons. I'm assuming Columbia/Sony is turning a profit on these, they don't seem like they're expensive to produce (no extras, etc.). For the relatively low price they sell for, I'd assume there's a buying audience out there large enough to keep it going. I, like you, hope to own all 6 seasons on dvd. Seeing how the James Evans character has so many fans, they show definately show support by getting the third season set, since it's John Amos' last. That'll pave the way for season four, and the "damn, damn, damn" episode that I can't wait to own on dvd.

They just put up the Sitcoms Online Good Times season 3 dvd review. It's a good review. Here's the first sentence and the last paragraph:

Good Times was a popular spin-off of the "All in the Family" spin-off "Maude," detailing the trials and tribulations of an African-American family living in the projects on the south side of Chicago.

This is another solid release in the Good Times franchise. I look forward to the last 3 seasons being released to complete the series. Hopefully, season 4 will be released in the next 6 months followed by season 5 and 6 sometime in 2005. There's no doubt Good Times is one of Columbia Tri-Star's most popular releases. If there were any bonus features like cast interviews, bloopers, or perhaps a history of the show segment - this dvd series would be even more dy-no-mite!

I hope that the rest of the releases come out that fast too. It'd be cool to have all 6 seasons on dvd before 2005 is over.

Since I do not have Good Times in sydnication in my area; I hope the information that Vashti1999 posted will become a reality; that by 2005 the entire series of Good Times will be released on DVD
