Go check out the article about Mama's Family that I uploaded in the photo gallery- it's the most recent one. They published it in April 1983, right after the 1st season ended. Take a look!

That's cool Allison! They sure didn't sound very enthused about the show did they? But then again it was not exactly a blockbuster in the ratings! It did much better in syndication. IMO because they brought in Bubba and Iola.

But at least they gave Mama's Family a CHANCE. NBC wouldn't even think of doing that today.

Well, partially, but not entirely (Vicki goes into some detail on this in her book).
