Definitely "I Will Always Love You". Her version is the best. I'm probably the only one in this world who cannot stand Whitney Houston's version. I once had an argument with a guy who said that Dolly bought the rights of I Will Always Love You from Whitney. Um, HELLOOOO?!! Dolly wrote that song when Whitney was like, 5 years old. Moron.

I also like Coat of Many Colors, Jolene, Here You Come Again, and Heart Candy Christmas. She also does a really good version of Bread's "If" on her Halos and Horns CD.

what an idiot!
Do you guys remember when she had her little show on CMT, and she would sing "I Will Alyways Love You" at the end of every show and then say "bye bye" in her sweet voice?

on an AOL board, one person said they preferred Whitney's version and a teenybopper attacked her for it. "Whitney made the song a hit, Dolly's was boring, Dolly's was a flop", etc...

The stupid idiot doesn't realize that Dolly's version was recorded BEFORE she courted pop music in the late 70's/early 80's, and that it was one of the biggest country singles of the 70's, and even went to #1 again in 1982. Whitney DID do a great version (as did Linda Ronstadt), but to flat out bash Dolly's is wrong, Dolly MADE the song, plus, her version and Whitney's version were different styles of music, so it's like comparing the Supremes version of You Keep Me Hanging On with Vanilla Fudge's hard rock version
