Hey, I found these boards and decided to post here. I'm a John Stevens fan, but I want him out next week. If you can tell, so many people already hate him, and HE'S losing credibility. If he went 3 weeks ago, then he would've still had credit and a good reputation. Now it seems like he's been overdue, and he's known as the "boy who's getting through due to popularity". I'm just saying that if you are a true John fan, stop voting for him. He ALWAYS says that he deserves to go, and hes always sad. Stop making him sadder.. he's already served his time. Thanks!

you should post that at http://www.fansofrealitytv.com . His fans there are nuts. they insist that he wants/deserves/enjoys being there. *screams*

i actually see where you're coming from. His reputation is getting... well, not better. This is the same reason i stopped voting for Nikki in season 1. I liked her, and even though i voted for Kelly most of the time, i still gave some to Nikki cuz every week i thought she was in trouble. When she passed Tamyra, so many people were like "what the heck.. how did SHE pass HER!?" and her reputation, like John, was being known as the "person who never gets voted off.. but should"

Im actually gonna start to vote for John just to keep him around. John, Diana, and George are the only ones I look forward to seeing.

Regarding the first post, I know alot of people don't like him, but that's the way it goes. He obviously has alot of people who love him, like me, or he wouldn't be in this competition. I think he has a really good voice. Also, did he come up to you and personally tell you he was sad and wanted to go? I mean, of course he must feel guilty. Those dumb judges' treat him like dirt and act like he doesn't belong there. I don't think he'll win AI, but I wish him the best. I personally am tired of seeing the "Diva's" getting praise. So they can hold a long note. Big deal. Also, I'm tired of hearing people bash him and assuming he's sad and wants to go home. JMO.

Me too Crystal. All the rest of the girls are so boring...blah. I get tired of hearing people with the same type of voices over and over again. Atleast John Stevens has a odd, but cool voice. I like him.

Yeah. I like how the other people sing, but it is good to have some varity. John is my kind of American Idol. He is nice, caring, and not full of himself. Just like Clay! I don't think he will win either, but I will still vote for him. I asked someone if I should continue to vote for him because I don't want him to have to endure embarrassment, and they said "Make him stay." I thought about it and if he didn't really want to go through all of this he would have never auditioned in the first place. I am sure he watched at least one of the last two seasons and saw all the critizism and remarks from the judges. He knew his voice was different, and probably didn't expect to even get this far. Good for him. He has to fight harder than all of the other finalist. For the most part they are natural pop/diva singers but John isn't. So each week he probably has to spend extra time rehearsing to sound that way. I think he deserves way more credit than people are giving him. Also, I am sick of people being so rude to him. So you don't like his type of style okay, but you don't have to rant on here about how much you hate him when you know some of the people here are John fans.

Well the main point is that we are making John look lousier and lousier each week as he progresses in each round. Its not gonna be bad if we vote him out this week, because he would make it to 6th place. Thats far, esp. for him. Im proud of him, but i dont want to hold him in too long.

actually, this year its all about the girls and George. The girls have power, control, and range. Thats what this competition needs. I like John Stevens taste, but its a bit out of depth at this point, im sorry to say. I love John, but this cant happen much longer

John Stevens has no range whatsoever and singing the notes he hits is not hard! If he has to work to have that different tone to his voice then he's a fake. I'm sure he doesn't spend any more time rehearsing, and if he does, it sure doesn't show. Whatever though. If you fans want to see him on the verge of tears for another week, then be my guest. And the stuff about how he wouldn't audition if he didn't want to be there is crap. Of course everything was fine up until recently. It's just that now he has gotten in over his head and is obviously out of his depth and he knows it. Three people (Jennifer, Paula, and Randy) have all said he says he needs to go.

Does he really have a lot of fans? Most of the people I know of don't like him. It is like divided in half they either like him or hate him.
