That's sad. two seniors from my school died a week ago in a car crash. they were a month away from graduating and one of them had all college courses and one high school course. they announced it on monday and they said if anyone feels too sad about it they can go to the counselor's office, and alot of people went and pretended to be sad so they could miss class. ugh

That's just wrong. My senior year a teacher died of cancer and the day of his funeral school was canceled and when they announced it on the intercom and a few people cheered I gave them the dirtiest looks they could tell I was pissed at them. Not only was it wrong to celebrate someone's death like that but his son was also a student there and that was so disrespectful to him.

That's terrible. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the cancelled day because I feel really bad for people who die. I am experiencing that. My great grandmother is 93 and can't hear anymore and has cancer and heart problems. I feel so sad for her. I hardly ever get to see her, and she is slowly dying. I hope she lives longer, but the chance is a 75-25.

That's so sad, so sudden too.

We lost three people in my class 3 yrs ago- one was hit by a car, another was hit by a train, and third committed suicide.
This yr we had a teacher commit suicide.

It's so sad to lose people so young - even if you didn't know them that well. When I was in highschool a girl and her two parents were killed in a car accident on Easter Sunday. Her sister survived. I knew the girl that died - she was my partner in Social Studies. It was so strange not to have her in class anymore - when we broke into groups we left her chair empty and nobody ever mentioned her name out loud. It was too sad. She was just a freshman. My friend and I were the last people to see the family alive - when we went out for breakfast the day before they left. I still think about her a lot, and I say a prayer for her and her parents every Easter ever since.
