Monica and Chandler bumped into Janice, who almost became their neighbor, but backed out when Chandler said he wanted to have an affair with her. She said someone had to be strong, so she decided to pass on buying the next door house.

Estelle, Joey's agent, died, but Phoebe decided to keep it a secret from Joey. She impersonated Estelle via the telephone until he eventually found out she died.

Rachel got a job offer in Paris. Ross tried to make her stay in NYC by persuading her boss to give her more money. Eventually he gave up when it was obvious she really wanted to go to Paris. I guess he sort of... let her go and was the bigger person.
