Default Why don't they ever say SHUT UP?

My sisters tell me to shut up EVERYDAY! Is that normal or not?
In Full House, how come one sister never tells the other one to shut up?
I wish I had the Full House sisters rather than my real sisters, because the Full House sisters aren't NEAR as mean as my real sisters.

They told each other to leave the room a lot...Stephanie really had a thing for being rude to Michelle.

Some people just don't like those words. It's just a preference. My high-school band director hates it. If anyone every says it and gets caught they get in trouble. She just thinks its rude, and since Full House is a family show, I'm guessing the producers just thought it would be more "family-like" to not use those words. I say it all the time at home, and when I'm with my friends, I personally don't think there is anything wrong with saying shutup.

When DJ and Steph shared a room, Steph always annoyed DJ.
Then when Steph was the 'big sister' and had to share the room with Michelle, Michelle did the same thing to her.

What comes around goes around!

Jesse said 'shut up' to Joey a few times. It's strange that the adults would say that, but not the kids. Hmmmm.

From "Raising Dad" a short lived sitcom with Bob Saget of "Full House" fame.
