I watched him some when I was growing up. I always found his show informative.
Then I grew up.

For little kids, he's ok, I guess. I watched him some, as a child.

I watched Mister Rogers when I was a kid.
I recently caught an episode on PBS, and even as an adult it was interesting. Fred Rogers taught his viewers many things, but most importantly, he never talked down to his audience. |

I never did get into Mister Rogers. When I was a child, I watched Nick Jr. mostly. And at that time (late 80s, very early 90s) every single thing you watched didn't have to be educational. Kids shows used to be for entertainment and I turned out just fine without Blue's Clues and all of that other crap. I don't think I watched PBS hardly ever when I was growing up.

I watched him growing up and I still don't get the point of coming home and changing your sneakers and sweater.

I do it all the time. Mr. Rogers taught me that... In fact, I change my shoes whenever I enter another room. My sweater is so soft. It's a cardigan. Can you say cardigan? It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... A beautiful day for a neighbor...
