I got the chance to check out an episode of Fish that was located in one of the Columbia House Barney Miler tapes (Quitting Time)..all I can say..it stunk
especially Victor Kreutzer...The only one that I liked was Diane; she was pleasant and very pretty and Todd Bridges..The rest were horrific...I wished they would made a spin off on Harris and Dietrich as room mates instead of Fish....

That's the only short-lived sitcom that i finally get a chance to see and it was horrible. |

I saw a few minutes of a Fish episode and I didn't think it was horrible. I can't believe that I never watched it when it aired on WOR back in the 90's.

I can't understand why people cannot appreciate good television when it's right in front of them. Fish was good stuff and it did not stink.

Try giving examples on why you feel Fish was good instead of just making a statement that it was good. |

First Fish did not adopt the children; once he retired from the 12th precinct, he and Bernice decided to have a "Group Home "for unwanted children and young adults. None of these children were adopted by the Fish family. It was Bernice that felt sorry for the children to begin with. Fish never wanted to retire for the police force. So saying that Fish was a good heared person for adopting this children is a little far fetch. |

I liked Fish and all, but he was not one of the funniest characters from Barney Miller. Yemana, Luger and Dietrich were...

I actually only saw the pilot, but I liked what I saw.
