As mentioned in the link above, Worcester County District Attorney John Conte has announced that a grand jury will be conducted, in the hopes that it will help further the investigation into the abduction and murder of Molly Bish (the Warren, MA teenager who went in missing in June of 2000, and whose remains were found last year). Over 100 witnesses might end up being called to testify under oath. The grand jury would also have the authority to force uncooperative witnesses to testify. Although no one has been arrested and charged in the case, there are some potential (if not official) suspects, including seven men who are convicted sex offenders living in the Warren area. The names of these people of interest, however, have not been publicly disclosed, obviously because doing so too soon (especially when there's less-than-sufficient evidence against them) might compromise the investigation. The grand jury should begin by the end of May, and could last up to six months. Let's hope that it leads to satisfactory results. |

Has there been anything of interest happening in this case recently? Has the grand jury uncovered any new information?
