The ending in The Shining when Jack Nicholson is lost in the snow maze.
In Terms of Endearment, when Shirley McClaine is going ballistic at the nurse's desk over them giving her dying daughter's medicine. The custody courtroom scene in Kramer vs. Kramer, when Meryl Streep, from the witness stand, looks at Dustin Hoffman and cries, realizing their son is better off with him. Goodfellas, when they do the montage of the mob hits set to the instrumental in Eric Clapton's, Layla. I think it's called, An Eye For an Eye, when Sally Field is running on the freeway with her cellphone, listening to her daughter being raped and murdered by Kiefer Sutherland. The ending of An Officer And A Gentleman, when Richard Gere swoops up Debra Winger in his arms. The ending of The Remains of The Day, when Anthony Hopkins is saying goodbye to Emma Thompson. The final scene in the 60s movie, The Days of Wine and Roses, when Lee Remick walks out on Jack Lemmon. So sad. The, "You can't handle the truth!" courtroom scene in A Few Good Men. The slow motion dance between Richard Gere and Diane Lane, towards the end of Unfaithful. |

The first half of "Bachelor Party", particularly the Chippendales scene.
The pool party sequence of "Caddyshack." In it some guy throws a Baby Ruth bar into the pool and it floats around and this girl yells, "Doodie!!! Doodie!!!" and everyone jumps out except this guy who is snorkeling and he sees it and yells, "AUUGHH!!! Doodie!!! Doodie!!!" The next shot is Bill Murray cleaning out the pool and he sees the candy bar and eats it. Judge Smails' wife sees it and faints.

Here they are, in order:
1) The final dance between Johnny and Baby in Dirty Dancing. No matter how many times I've seen that movie, if I catch it on TV I'll always watch the end. 2) The final scene of An Officer and a Gentleman. Do I need to explain that one? ![]() 3) The gazebo dance in The Sound of Music 4) Lara seeing Yuri at the library in Doctor Zhivago 5) Colonel Brandon first watching Marianne sing in Sense and Sensibility 6) The ending of Excalibur 7) The dance between Briar Rose and Prince Phillip in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. 8) Tatum O'Neal running after her dad at the very end of Paper Moon. 9) All of the opera scenes in Amadeus. 10) The opening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show 11) Liza belting out the last song in Cabaret 12) Catherine Zeta Jones going up that platform to the beginning of "All That Jazz" in Chicago. 13) Judy Garland singing "Get Happy" in Summer Stock 14) The final scene of The Best Years of Our Lives (see avatar) 15) Marilyn Monroe singing "I Wanna be Loved by You" in Some Like it Hot |

Two favorite scenes come from Godfather I and Godfather II.
Favorite scene from GFI: When Michael Corleone goes to meet with the cop and the mafia boss and comes out of the bathroom and kills them both. Scene from GFII: When Michael Corleone come in the house and sees that his former wife is there with the children and he closes the door in her face, and the scene at the end where he has his brother killed, and when he hears the gunshot he lowers his hear in sorrow and sadness. |

I also love when Ferris Bueller is singing Twist and Shout. Dirty Dancing when Baby does:" The Lift"

The scene in Star Wars:Return Of The Jedi when Darth Vader watches as the Emperor jolts (his son)Luke; then Vader looks at the Emperor; then back at Luke; and finally back at the Emperor and then he lifts him up and throws him over the edge.
Batty's speech near the end of Blade Runner : "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." The scene with the French soldier and King Arthur inMonty Python and the Holy Grail.:French Soldier: "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries." King Arthur: "Is there someone else up there we could talk to?" French Soldier: "No, now go away before I taunt you a second time." |
