Talking 25 Full House Fun Facts

If anyone is wondering, I got most of these facts from TV Tome
I also got a few from Full House Aloha.
And I got one from Full House On Location.
Enjoy!

Fact#1-Ernie Hudson played as Reggie "The Sandman" Martin, in the episode, "Knock Yourself Out", and one of Ernie Hudson's most well known movie roles was the role of Ghostbuster Winston Zeddmore on "Ghostbusters" and "Ghostbusters II.
Fact #2-The thunder SFX on "Full House" is the same as the thunder used on Hanna Barbra cartoons, until the '90s.
Fact #3-Bullet is the car you see Danny driving in the opening credits.
Fact#4-Most people probably know this, but Kirk Cameron, who played Steve in "Just One Of The Guys," is the older brother of Candace Cameron. He was also on the TV show "Growing Pains"
Fact#5-Scott Weingner, who plays as Steve Hale, also did the voice of Aladdin in the movie, Aladdin.
Fact#6-Jodie Sweetin's first TV appearence was an oskar mayer hot dog commercial in 1987.
Fact #7-The Olsen twins acted side by side in: The Seven-Month Itch, Greek Week, The Devil Made Me Do It, and Michelle Rides Again.
Fact#8-A lot of people don't know this one:
Jesse's name went from "Cochran" to "Katopolis" because John Stamos wanted his character, Jesse, to be greek, like him.
Fact#9-In the episode "Baby Love," a girl with short hair played Howie. But, in Howie's next and final appearence, which would be in "The Wedding," a boy played him.
Fact #10-Comet's first appearence was "And They Call It Puppy Love"
Fact#11-In the episode "Dr. Dare Rides Again" Scott Biao plays the gutair for the last time on TV.
Fact#12-Lori Loughorn became an official cast member starting with the episode "Tanner's Island"
Fact#13:In the episode "Honey, I Broke The House" the line "There's a car in the kitchen!" was said 3 times
Fact#14-The episode "One Last Kiss" aired the same day "Home Alone" was released into theaters.
Fact #15-The last episode Michelle said "You got it dude" was "Fuller House"
Fact#16-Vicky was only supposed to air in 5 episodes.
Fact#17-Steve's first appearence was "Sisters In Crime" His last name was Peters, not Hale.
Fact#18-During the summer of 1992, Candace Cameron went to Madrid, just like DJ.
Fact#19-"In the episode "The Long Goodbye" Michelle is wearing the same dress as she wears in the Season 6 Theme Song.
Fact#20-"THe House Meets The Mouse" was actully fillmed in DIsneyWorld.
Fact#21-"The only episode Kimmy is seen in her house is "The Apartment"
Fact#22-I thought of this one myself, I may be wrong, but I don't think that Kimmy's parents were ever shown/
Fact#23-Vicky's final appearence is in "The Perfect Couple"
Fact#24-When "On The Road Again" first aired, it was mostly shut out by Election Day news.
Fact#25-A special dog was used to play Comet in "Air Jesse" because they needed a dog to shoot a basketball hoop.

Cool! Thank you, Rurry007!!!

And by the way, Kimmy's parents were shown, but just in one episode. I think they were show in the episode "The Wedding, part 1" when her parents were shown sitting by her.

Hmmm. Just a few comments. I knew most of this stuff. I think most fans of the show do know that Jesse's last name changed. I didn't know about the one about the Hanna Barbera sound effects. That sort of surprises me. I'm such a fan of Scooby-Doo. I should have caught that. I also knew about the special dog they used to play Comet in the "Air Jesse" episode. Buddy the Wonder Dog, he was called. I guess it would be hard to train a regular golden retriever to play basketball. I didn't catch Kimmy's parents in the wedding episode. I might have to check on that again.

Matt: He was in the director's cut.

From "Raising Dad" a short lived sitcom with Bob Saget of "Full House" fame.

Rurry007, what about these facts that don't belong there:

1. The song "Baby Love" by Diana Ross & the Supremes was used in the episode called "The Seven-Month Itch".
2. Joey Gladstone does Popeye imitations and it was the same cartoon character that was originally produced with King Features by Fleischer Brothers/Famous Studios and Paramount.
3. The song "Motownphilly" by Boyz II Men was used in the episode "Gotta Dance".

About Steve's last name changing, I always thought that was strange.......but what about this?

DJ claimed that Kimmy had 3 sisters , , but after that, only her brother Garth was mentioned.

So, did Kimmy only have the brother? or did she really have 3 sisters and a brother?

Isn't there a site where I can find a script to figure this out?

Well, unlike what happened with Jesse, I think this one was just a goof. I guess when Steve was introduced they weren't planning on making him a regular character, but when they decided to do so, I guess they forgot that he had been called Steve Peters before, so they gave him the name Steve Hale.
