Default Why is Tim Duncan a Center on Offense and a Forward on Defense? damm he is a

WUSS. He likes to take advantage of smaller guys on offense and then is scared to defend garnett and shaq. He will always be a wimp to me.

Solomon u don't know what you're talkin about. I've seen him defend Garnett & Shaq before numerous times. He's not a wuss. If he was a wuss on defense, he wouldn't be gettin named to the first team all defensive squad every yr.

Garnett is a forward so your saying Duncan would be gaurding him? Or are you saying he will either gaurd the center or the forward, whoever is worse? Like jeko said, why risk getting him in foul trouble gaurding an active offensive player like KG or a monster like Shaq? Maybe if the Spurs were losing they would change how they used him, but coming off a championship season and a possible sweep I don't think they need to change how they use Duncan.

BESIDES that...the best defender on SAN ANTONIO is BRUCE BOWEN.

Bruce Bowen isn't a better defender than Duncan. I think Bruce is overrated & he can't shoot free throws for s**t. He shot a airball free throw yesterday towards the end of the game LOL. How is it he can make three pointers but can't make free throws?

Thats why they don't ask TIM to guard anyone worth a damn. Bruce is not going to score double digits..unless his three pointer is on. Bruce has been a great defender since his days at Miami...I remember him giving the KNICKS hell.
