Question What's happened the last 2 years?

Hey y'all...with a few different 2nd shift jobs and movin' recently, I've really missed out on most of the last 2 years o' shows.

Could anyone out there please tell me what's been goin' on in each character's life for the last 2 years? Kinda like a synopsis of the show?

Now, I know I don't have the right to ask for every detail or novels or anything, but also, whoever would like to help me and fill me in, feel free to go into detail if you like!

Maybe a big Phoebe fan could gimme the dish on Pheebs, a Joey one Joey, etc...or maybe a huge fan o' the show or 2 would like to cover the bases---just anyone, please!

I would love to be filled in before I watch the series finale; I'm determined to remember to tape these last 2 shows!

In a nutshell....

Phoebe married Mike who Joey set her up on a date with last season.

Rachel has accepted a job offer in Paris.

Monica and Chandler are adopting twins (a boy and a girl, I believe) and are moving away.

Joey doesn't like that everything is changing although he will move to California to live with his sister and nephew.

Ross still loves Rachel but just can't tell her.

Okay, I'm assuming you know about the season 8 stuff, with Ross and Rachel having a child and Joey falling in love with Rachel--the two main points. Of course, that led to the accidental proposal by Joey which Rachel accepted.

Joey - Joey cleared up he had no feelings for Rachel and didn't mean to propose to her. Since then, he began dating Charlie, a paleontologist friend of Ross's, before the broke up because they had differing interests. In Barbados, he saw Charlie kiss Ross and went on to kiss Rachel and they began a relationship. They realized it'd never work and moved on from it. Recently, his agent, Estelle, passed away.

Rachel - She had Emma and then fell for a guy from her office who was basically taken off the show soon after he premiered. She ended up falling for Joey midway through the 9th season, but he was more interested in Charlie, Ross's friend. After she and Joey broke up, she had nothing huge until she was fired from Ralph Lauren, and Mark, from season 3, got her a job--in Paris. Ross didn't want her to go, but now, it looks as if she'll be gone.

Ross - He brought Charlie onto the show and ended up taking her from Joey in the 9th season finale in Barbados--actually, she and Joey had broken up but it was because she liked Ross. When he found out about Joey and Rachel, he basically freaked, but in the end, urged them to go for it because he saw how much Joey liked her. Charlie left Ross for an old boyfriend. Ross attempted to persuade Rachel's boss at Ralph Lauren to hire her back and when she was hired back, he saw how unhappy she was at staying, so he urged her to go to Paris.

Monica and Chandler - They've bought a house in the suburbs and will be moving out there with their adopted child. That's been basically it for them--trying to get pregnant, failing, and adopting. The baby has yet to be born. Oh, yeah, there was a minor plotline in the 9th season where Chandler moved to Tulsa for his job, but he ended up walking out and became unemployed. I think he's back working now, but honestly, I don't know what he's doing--I think advertising.

Phoebe - Phoebe fell for a Mike, a piano player, but they broke up when she found out he didn't want to be married. David, the science guy, came back into the picture, but Phoebe was still stuck on Mike. David proposed in Barbados, but Mike, thanks to a call from Monica, interrupted it and proposed himself--but she turned him down. She didn't want marriage at the time, just a promise that the relationship would/could go somewhere. In the 10th season, Mike proposed and they were married in the aptly titled TOW Phoebe's Wedding.

I think I've covered most of the basic stuff--anyone have anything to add?
