18 episodes is not enough! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This season there have been so many balls up in the air and so many storylines they are quickly wrapping up. With months between new episodes- it is really hard to keep up! The last time they had a new episode was mid February and it is almost May now! I forgot all about Monica and Chandler moving to the country. It is just too choppy having several month gaps between episodes. I was reading an article that summed up all my thoughts today about this issue. Things seem chopped up when you waste six weeks counting down the "best episodes" and thenc ome back expecting everyone to pick up with new episodes? This is just really strange for me!

The reason that is, is NBC and Friends made a deal that they would come back for the 10th season but they decided on on 18 episodes.
