hello!!!!

my name is markus...man, i loved GAB...i have so many wonderful memories of this show. Mind you, I havent seen it AT ALL in at least 10 years. Man, I wish some network would re-air it- does anyone know where I could find some episodes on tape??? Help me out!!!

Nell was like a 2nd mother to me, since I was a kid at the time. some of my favorite quotes from the show (mind you, I'm going off memory ONLY):

"Which one of you called ME tubby!?"

"candies, cakes and salted nuts, show up on our thighs and butts"

"Do I look like I just stepped off a Greyhound Bus with a chicken?!?"

"Juliet had some dumb white woman from Verona...you've got a hip black woman from Alabama!"

"Addy...yo' daddy?!"

"no no no no...that was my dream, because I was gonna be Diana Ross!"

I enjoyed GAB also......loved Nell and the whole crew. I wish they would run old shows on one of the networks. HEY, maybe we need to go over to Nick.com and see if they would air it.

Sounds like a very good idea. Gimmie a Break is one of my favorite sitcoms of the 1980s, and I wish, either TV Land or N@N would add GAB to their line-up
